Precision Coatings SlipShield 1000 is applied to interior and exterior ceramic tile, polished stone, polished concrete, coated flooring, metal decking and selected interior wood substrates to improve slip resistance in both dry and wet environments by increasing the coefficient of friction wuth or without an aggregate. In certified third party testing, SlipShield 1000 demonstrated a coefficient of friction on a dry substrate of 0.81 and on a wet substrate of (water) 0.54. With aggregate loading SlipShield increased the coefficient of friction to .92 dry and .82 wet. SlipShield 1000 is available in both clear and solid colors in gloss, semi-gloss, satin and matte finishes.
